Go ahead and buy a nasty American muscle car, then start crying and complaining the first time some big turbo diesel pickup or some ratty, beaten up modded Honda Civic blows your doors off.

Or, even more frequently, when it rattles or breaks down. GM and Ford aren't exactly known for stellar reliability. Look at the Corvetteforum.com threads about the crappy A8 transmission for some examples.
