Torn between two beasts.
Well guys, I use to own a Pearl White 6MT Sport back in 2013-2014. I sold it because I was waiting on a job to come through that took 8 months to get on with and I needed the extra money. Well, now I've finally got back on track and I have enough money to buy a 2014 Nismo (what I originally wanted). But now I am torn because while I can afford the Nismo pretty easy, I recently found a lot of interest in the new 2015-2016 Dodge Challenger 392 SRT. It's a tad bit more but I can afford it. But I'm torn between the two. I have another vehicle which is a SUV so a backseat really isn't demanding but its nice to have so my daughter can ride also. Thoughts? :ugh2:

Take a challenger for a test drive and maybe your mind will be made up

Yeah, I tried to today but that have no manuals at the dealership in my city. They have one R/T but its the 385hp one. :/

The dodge will stay Broke, not bad looking cars;but we work on the law enforcement chargers & challengers!
Bottom of the quality barrel. |
Buy the Nismo and add 800lbs of free weights to the trunk. Then you'll have the Challenger.

These are two COMPLETELY different cars... you better test drive that challenger before making any serious decisions. I've owned many Chrysler products in the past... all have been disappointments from a build and drive-quality and perspective. YMMV

I had to make a similar decisions in 2011. They are two different cars, for two different types of people. Two things killed the challenger in the end for me at the time the STR had a 3k gas guzzler tax on it, now only the hellcat does. The other was when I was at the NY Autoshow their was a line to see both cars, but the people in the Z line were mostly people my age (20's and 30's), the people at the challenger were mostly much older then me (50's and 60's). The challenger's target market isn't for me (yet), imo it's more of a soft cushiony, straightline, 60's inspired retro, spacious car. The Z is very much the opposite.

Op, if you honestly need help from others to make the decision, the make sure you get all sides of the story by also posting the same question in the challenger forum.

Drive both and get the one you like more.
