Buy a used chevy Aveo and get me the NISMO.

I keep reading "breasts" in the title. Was disappointed the first time I opened the thread, and continue to be disappointed every time I see the title.
Good luck, OP, but I'm not as interested in helping to resolve your dilemma as I thought I'd be :o |

Ever since we bought our Z a few weeks ago, I can think of only one thing when I happen to notice the vehicles which are the subject of this thread. I think Ahhhnold expresses that thought far better than I can (and maybe get away with it, but maybe not): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcgRaf38uCQ |
I like the Chargers and Challengers no doubt. The issue I have is all the Dodge stuff around them. I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 with the Cummins engine. Some of the Dodge stuff that breaks is just stupid. Love my truck but I get aggravated with all the stupid stuff I have to fix.

Torn between two beasts.
If you're thinking about American Muscle, have you thought about Shelby Gt350? Not a Ford guy but that's a beast
Sorry for going off topic lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
If you are wanting to go with a Challenger you might as well go all the way. Look at the SRT Hellcat, 707 hp.

I you want to go fast get the Charger the Hellcat is a boat and can't put the power down...come on 285's in the rear for a car of that size and power! Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk |

I had the same dilemma when I bought my Z. 2 things made a deciding factor for me, the first was corning, while the Challenger wasn't bad for it's size the NISMO was a go cart. The second was while the interior of the NISMO is sparse to say the least, it feels like that was it's design, while the SRT8 felt like it was reaching to be a mix between luxury and race car and didn't fit either one.

I have an RT and a NISMO. Get the one you like the most. Dodge is better ride and comfort and when you want to go it will. Z is way more fun to drive under all other conditions. NISMO is super stiff get a set of sport damper take off and keep the NISMO springs.
|
As a guy who owned a sport/touring Z and a NISMO Z I would tell you that for the money you would spend on a 2014 Z or 2015 Challenger there are much better cars to buy. The Z is heavily dated at this point and not worth buying unless you don't care about having dated tech. If it were me I'd be looking at a new Camaro SS or Mustang. Don't get me wrong, the Z is an awesome car, but compared to other options it's very dated with regard to performance and inside tech.

Thanks for all the input guys. It looks like I am going to have to drive to Texas to find a SRT to test drive, sadly. I'm still on the fence about. As for the comment about dated tech and the new SS, im going to look into that. They have a 2SS near me at a dealership.
