Update. Went to the dealer, told them about it, they asked for my papers and told me that the new part will arrive in no more than 10 days. Thought

Update.
Went to the dealer, told them about it, they asked for my papers and told me that the new part will arrive in no more than 10 days. Thought it was going to be a big hassle and I was prepared to do a big scene but they didn't even give me a chance lol. I was in and out in 15 minutes. I think this is the best dealer experience I've ever had. If this hadn't happened then I would have probably used the double sided tape as suggested but deep down it was going to bother me everyone I looked at it.
