OOOOOH boy I just went through a month of hell, with those stupid *** trim pieces. I had to have my windshield replaced from a rock that cracked it. Well severely long story short, the glass place broke and had to repair the following...
- Rearview mirror - Had to install 2 windows, first one was defective - Interior driver side pillar cover...they scratched the hell out of it. - BOTH outside pillar covers and BOTH of those little black trim pieces, because they removed them in the wrong order, breaking all the clips and then tried to cover it up. By gluing the dam things back on. So my 300 dollar window repair became a 2000 bill for the window place. |
WTF!? How could they've broken all those things for only a windshield change?
I guess I'm lucky to just have one broken piece then haha |

Never seen such a shady, crappy, low down thing in my life. Either way, I've prepared my google, yelp and any other review page I can hit. And I'll be contacting the Better Business Bureau. |

Update.
Went to the dealer, told them about it, they asked for my papers and told me that the new part will arrive in no more than 10 days. Thought it was going to be a big hassle and I was prepared to do a big scene but they didn't even give me a chance lol. I was in and out in 15 minutes. I think this is the best dealer experience I've ever had. If this hadn't happened then I would have probably used the double sided tape as suggested but deep down it was going to bother me everyone I looked at it. |
If u do it correctly the tape works just as good.
Not like ur other tabs might or might not be broken. :ugh: |
