Im a truck driver, just pass safely and dont cut 2 feet in front of the truck, if speeds are moving 65 ,pass in front of the truck at minimum of 50 feet. If your angry at the lane the truck is in and not going as fast as you like ,dont cut in front of the truck ,you are only endangering yourself. be safe everyone and be patient.

oh god the amount of times I see people cut trucks off and slam their breaks... uh yea buddy that's how you get fk'd up. especially if they carrying max load.

If I am going back infront of the truck I make sure I'm going to make a big enough gap. if not meh... i'll hog the left lane for a bit

i never change lanes in front of a tractor trailer while approaching a red light. im thinking u guys are calculating the amount of distance left to stop and a car changing lanes in front of u can mess dat up.

like how following shitty AT drivers sometimes pisses me off cause im looking at the space in front of the pos AT car and calculating the amount of engine braking and braking i apply coming to a stop. some fakers stop leaving like 3-4 car lengths in front of them for no faking reason... then creep slowly.

Lots of good advice itt. Having had an 18-wheeler change lanes into me years ago where two interstates merged, I am particularly careful to avoid being in a truck's blind spot when they or I are merging.

I also try not to drive beside them for any longer than necessary. If "forced" to do so, I strive to get in a position where I can see the truckdriver's face in his rear-view mirror.

i witnessed a guy in some small nissan get clipped by a truck yesterday while he was waiting for the light in the right turn lane. it was a decent crash. i couldnt see how the truck driver didn't see him though.. sunny and all.
