Default Adding Sport Option - Dumb Question

I know this probably isnt a possibilty but I was looking at this thread (http://www.the370z.com/nissan-370z-p...ice-price.html), and it says the option for the Sport is like $3000. I am assuming these are options that would not be added at the dealership but have to ordered with it. Basically, I am saying you can't just walk in and get all the sport package components for this price (maybe you could just w/o install). Prob have to buy each one separately, so SOL on getting it for cheap

The wheels alone will cost you over $3000.

No you can't. It'll cost you far more. The sport package is a bargain.

Not to mention that the dealer can't just add SRM or the LSD.

Just get the car w/ the option from the dealer. If I understand you correctly - You are asking if when you wanted to pick up a Z w/ sports you would have to ask the dealer to add on all the sport options... This is not correct - the dealer will get some Z's w/ sport and some w/out...

Unless you're turning your Z into a track car, the sports package is a real bargain

I agree, the Sport Package is a good deal. If you did the research and itemized everything Rays wheels, Bridgestone Potenzas, LSD + install, Brakes + install, Syncro Rev Match(which I doubt can be added later), rear wing and lip spoiler, that would add up to a lot more than 3k.

^ yea but you got to reduce the price of the stock wheels (18s) + stock rubber from that - so really the sports package costs closer to 5k

I think it depends on what you are going to do with the car. At first I thought the sports package was a bargin, but now I beginning to think not so much as I'm going to have to replace the brake calipers and rotors, and LSD, plus I'm buying track wheels. The SRM is sure nice at the track though, and that's the one thing you can't "add on".

Exactly. Is it something I could live without on the track, definitely, but it sure is nice!!!! It is really the main reason I wanted the sports package.

I think the sport package is a good deal unless you really don't like the wheels and would rather do your own brake and LSD upgrade. The SRM would also be very expensive to add on separately if not from the factory embedded in the sport package.

The MSRP of the sport package is $3K but at the prices people are paying for the Z, you can probably get it for less. Add the invoice price of the sport package to the invoice price of the base car and thats more or less the total price give or take.
