i thought u were supposed to received the title with a release signature and you take it to DMV to have the car registered under your name? might be different

i thought u were supposed to received the title with a release signature and you take it to DMV to have the car registered under your name?
might be different in CA, but in my state the new owner does the paper work. the selling party would just mail out the stub (part of the title) to DMV stating the sale. |
