Hi all,
I'm doing a head unit upgrade to 2015 head unit. I purchased the radio but when it turn on it shows this as attached.
I tried to find a way to enter a code or etc, but no luck.
Any idea how to get it working?
Thanks a lot!

Ummmm, off the cuff guess is that you purchased a stolen head unit.

Each unit has it's own code, you'll need to take it to Nissan to get the code (from serial number on side of unit). They'll want proof of ownership.

Not sure why these units need such airtight security... you can't give them away and someone had already stolen my 2 rear speakers before I bought it.

Like they have said, you need the code specific to that radio (Think of it like a password). The dealer can help you out for a $FEE$

Sorry, joking, they come WITHOUT rear speakers so you get the full ambience of the rear hatch road noise filling your sound stage. ( the base / sport models head units at least)

did you get the Bluetooth receiver and the wiring connector plugs / harness or just the bare unit.

a cheap double din aftermarket unit would probably be better and easier.

I went to a local dealer, they said the unit must be in a car.

I get the radio unit without harness, but I get the harness from some where else except the Bluetooth harness.

go back to the seller and ask for the code. he/she should've given it to you during the sale.

I stand by my original assessment, you got a 'hot' unit, especially if you didn't get all the associated hardware. Based on what I know about other manufacturers, the $fee$ involved is usually in the ball park of $150, provided you can prove you were the original owner of the device. Like burntz said, a double din aftermarket unit would have been a better idea.

I get the unit with the panel frame though lol. I like this unit... It has all the function I need and it fit in the interior theme. I guess I will find a dealer that willing to help me out with the charge.
