Yes anther steering lock thread

All 2010s have a steering lock but not all were recalled. Mine did not fall into the campaign. Regardless I would pull the fuse. 5 minutes of your time is worth avoiding the hassle.

I had a 2008 Altima and never had any issues with the lock in the 5 years I owned it, but it seems like the units used in the GTR/Z are more prone to failure. Go figure, that's Nissan for you.

The lag is there regardless if the fuse is removed or not. It only appears longer with the fuse removed because of no sound of the lock disengaging before the car starts.
