Mustang GT vs 370z, non-corporate unbias review! Finally!!!

Cuz I've not heard new estimates since then?

The current non-hybrid sport model sedan is 3,574lbs

So why would the coupe be heavier with less doors?

Plus it's also 4 inches shorter in length and 3 inches less in height. But it is 2 inches wider in width.

Here's an un-bias opinion...

If it's a 370Z vs GT... I'd get keep my 370Z

If it's a 370Z vs GT350... then, well...

I test drove a 2015 gt and told the sales guy I was a serious buy and I wanted to beat on it so I did.

Test drove the only nismo in Pittsburg around the block and wanted the z 10000x more. Mustangs are fast but still feel like turds. I wanted a roush but that still doesnt help the fact its a mustang.

They have to be doing some major magic on that chassis, then, since the G37 coupe was 3700lbs and the Q50 is listed between 3600-3900lbs.

Don't get me wrong, I'd be a very happy man with a 3000lb Z pushing 400HP from a 3.0L TTV6, but I doubt Nissan wants to invest that much in the car since they apparently hate us all.

I cannot deny that there are many suspension variables that can be improved, and there are a decent number of aftermarket parts to do so. re050a's are actually damn solid in DRY and warm/hot conditions. wet conditions, less than optimal tread and other thingies are well... yea.

minus the CSC, the weakest point already mentioned to me is the exhaust note. the g35/37 had such a nicer throaty sound.

not sure if you saw the posts but the new engine is lighter than the current one BUT with plumbing it'll be 50lb or so heavier.

also need to keep in mind with newer technologies in safety/sound dampening (a major complaint from the weak willed) / bells and whistles they will fight to keep it under 3200 unless they seriously adjust the length/width.

3,574lbs is the base weight of a Q50.
The hybrid is 3,849lbs.

The Z is 3300lbs, a sport is 3,330 and a Nismo is 3400

A G37 coupe is 3,714lb curb weight. 3850 with all wheel drive....

Fellas you better look at RWD cars for comparison. Not hybrid and AWD
