Common AC issues?
As I continue my search for a Z, I've noticed several of the have had AC work.
Google didn't lead me to believe there were any common issues. What's the story? |

People installing cold air intakes and they didn't protect the A/C line. So, they would have a leak where it rubbed through on the line.
Or, they installed a CSF radiator and it didn't seal properly at the dryer. |

Going by what I've read on this site (or rather what I haven't read), the A/C seems to be very reliable. As per Spooler, most problems seem to be the result of poor mechanicing.

Common AC issues?
My compressor went bad at about 65,000 miles, but I don't think it's a common issue

Op,
Like it has been already pointed out. AC issues are not very common, But can happen for obvious reasons like the installation of an aftermarket CAI or a rare compressor failure. Sorry I can't reply to costs. I personally wouldn't factor that in IF you are looking to buy used or NEW.
