Is it bad that when I watch/hear stories of car accidents in the news the moment I hear "wasn't wearing a seatbelt" I instantly stop caring? Kind of like when

Is it bad that when I watch/hear stories of car accidents in the news the moment I hear "wasn't wearing a seatbelt" I instantly stop caring? Kind of like when I see a motorcycle accident and the biker has no helmet and no gear.
Worst ones are the partially ejected from car when it rolls. I've been on that scene before as a first responder... it was gruesome.
