See I feel I didnt need the sports model but wanted the touring. The bigger brakes on the sports are nice but not really needed, stock brakes work very well.

LSD from what I hear isnt that great and an aftermarket one will be much better but youll have to pay for it and unless you are tracking its not really needed. Got the 7AT so rev sync is N/A. Love the heated seats, homelink, bluetooth, power seats, and yes even the Bose as its pretty good for what I need. Plus got them to throw in the spoiler for free. But as you can see its subjective according to each person.

Maybe i am a ricer but i like how the Tiberons looks. I love how the gensis looks. If i wasnt such a Z fan boy and my 350z wasnt so dam good to me i would probably be driving a gen coupe.

A tad OT... I notice the new McLaren is taking some cues from the Genesis Coupe. I don't think anyone can go wrong with the Genesis Coupe. It is leagues ahead of the Tiburon. That's quite an evolution.
IMO, I don't think the 350Z and 370Z has much "Z" passion put into it compared to the 300ZX and prior generations. However, I do get a better sense of "Z" passion in the 370Z than the 350Z. The NISMO 350Z had some sort of passion put into it, but I don't quite see much effort with the NISMO 370Z. Look at the previous generation GT-Rs and the NISMO variants... now that's something worth owning.

Ya know that the Tiburon was a Pininfarina design right? I've looked the the Tiburon, I think I'm bias against it because it is a Hyundai, but a closer look at the exterior, it is not a bad looking car

(Now that I've experienced the 370....that might not be so true anymore about it having enough get up and go....I had no idea what I was missing!)

I looked at the gen coupe....but could NOT get past the fact that its still a Hyundai. Maybe that makes me an elitist a$$? I don't know...but I just could not pull the trigger on a Hyundai....ever...or a Kia...
Disclaimer: This is my personal opinion and is based on real feelings I had when cross shopping cars. Just being honest. I'm not saying its right

I like the car, I don't think they look half bad. I just can't get past the manufacturer. If the 370z was badged as a Hyundai, I wouldn't have bought it. They signify cheap in my warped little brain. Like I said, I'm not saying its right......because they could make the best car ever created and I would miss out on it.

i think this is a pretty good and funny review.
it addresses the side where people say "i cant buy a Hyundai" etc.. its a fair review with positives and negatives. YouTube - 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Review Last edited by nurburgring; 11-03-2009 at 09:59 AM. |
