Pulled and ticketed for tinted windows
Cleared.

I had a friend successfully fight this (write in) because the cop didn't measure the tint, so you could try that.
On the other hand, if you really have no tint, you could just pay the $ to get the fixit signed, isn't it pretty cheap? |
Where was this? I never had any issues for my tint and they're dark, 15% plus no front plate since forever.
|
I had the same issue with a cop when I had my first car lol
Had a 2006 BMW 330i and a cop pulled me over for speeding. His question, "Is this really your car" hahahaha He even got the car model and color wrong on the ticket lmao |

It was obvious he didn't care but just wanted to meet quota. Just tried to get everything done quick and fined me for the tints. |
When you tint your side windows in California and also choose to run without a front plate, then you are at constant risk of being pulled over and you should accept that risk as well as be prepared to pay the price.
Each of these is a motor vehicle infraction. Both of these conditions are easy to spot and do not require any effort (like measuring speed) on the officer's part. Anyway... This reminds me of one of my sons when he was 16 and got his first ticket in one of my Z's. "I was profiled!!!" he said. I asked why he said that and he replied that he has long hair, is young and driving a sports car. I asked him how fast he was going and he said 85. I then asked if he was going faster than everyone else and he said he was. I then agreed that he was profiled and pointed out that the CHP profiles people who are obviously speeding. I told him to man up and accept the consequences. |
Being profiled by police is a fact of life, accept it.
Now, regarding the window tint, get a note from your optometrist, make a copy for each car you own with tinted windows, and keep a notarized copy in each. For this time around, see if the note can still be used to have the ticket written off. Please, stop using racial card. I'm Asian too and your attempt is embarrassing. |
When you say you were asked repeatedly about ownership of the car............................................... .
According to your video "evidence" he asked you only twice if you owned the car. the second time was right after he asked you for the second time for your registration, which you apparently did not hand him along with your other info. Sorry, guy, I don't see anything here that would indicate he is a hater of either Asians, or the 370z. All I see is a disgruntled driver pissed because he couldn't hide his illegal window tint from the police. Window tint laws are in place for a reason (although I don't personally agree with it, and have one of my own vehicles tinted) But if I get caught, I'm not gonna bitch and moan, and cry "profiling" or any other BS about it, I'm just gonna have it removed, as the law dictates, and move on. You gotta pay the price to play the game. |

Man up. When you are wrong, own it. Where is the accountability and responsibility? I weep for those who spend their energy trying to cheat and lie. |
Lucky that you did not get shot liked the man in Cincinnati.

I don't know what's up your *** bro but I came to get info, not to get lectured on what's right and wrong, sherlock. If I needed parenting on morals, you'd be the last person i'd call. Honestly I could go on some more but judging from what we have so far of you, it's not worth it. |

You broke the law, you got caught, quit whining about it and pay the fine. As the Beretta theme song said, "Don't do the crime if you can't do the time." |
