and again, from what reasoning are you basing about nissan getting "left behind"? you can't really compare a civic si and a Z, as they are worlds apart. coming from an FG2 07 Si (which btw isn't that much more different in terms of performance from the current Si), i can personally attest that they are completely in different classes.

I thought the GTR was an inline six, at least it was a couple (?) years back...shows how much I know...

the skyline r34 was an I6. the nissan gtr r35 (2009+) is a V6.
