My favorite is when I go for that 3rd pedal and it ends up being the edge of that retardedly wide brake pedal all automatics seem to have.

The only automatics I drive are rental cars and I will inevitably jam on the brakes, hard, with my left foot at least once per rental.

I do the same thing, I have to tuck my foot under and against the seat so I don't do that.

I'm glad I'm not the only one, usually hit it while parking or while going slow. Go to push in the clutch to downshift or start stopping, only to jam that darned brake pedal.
