its very hard to find Z34 weight comparisons from jdm to US BUT was easy to show the difference on the z33. As a general theory that the japanese versions of this car is lighter is supported through seperate articles on each car.

And wiki search of the american car shows to be over 1600kg= app 3500lbs.
This supports what I stated about my friends fairlady being lighter than the 350z and also shows here a probability of this being possible with the Z34.

As I stated my friends car was somewhere around 288lbs lighter. These 2 sights support what I said.

HONESTLY:

Wikipedia is a good starting reference point. But you better make DAMN sure the information is accurate before you go quoting something from it. I think that would've saved us this lil' thread...
