Sport Vs Base Model?

Sorry if this a repeat topic, but I tried searching but couldn't find anything.

For those of you that purchased a manual sport model do you think it was worth the difference than purchasing a base model and doing the upgrades yourself? and for those that bought the base manual model do you regret not getting the sport package?

I'm on the fence right in trying to figure out which is the better model to pull the trigger on?

Any input would be helpful.

Sport is def worth it - try adding SRM to a base - not gonna happen.

Really couldn't find anything when you googled 370z sport vs base?

it's worth getting the sport package. bigger brakes, vicious lsd and the srm, better rims :D

even though i never use the srm, it's a nice option to have.

I don't think I've turned mine off since I got the car exactly 8 months ago. :driving:

Then again I haven't touched the VDC button either.

I went non-sport since I knew I would be tearing the car apart and upgrading all the things the sport has to offer except SRM. Heel-toeing is more fun anyways IMO

I think the general consesus seems to be the Sport Package is def worth it unless you plan on replacing most of the stuff down the line. I personally love the Sport Rays and I don't plan on doing much visually, so the Sport rear/front spoilers are a pleasant add-on.

This topic has been beaten to death so I'm surpised your searching didn't turn up much.

he probably tried using the "search" on here which isn't that user friendly. if he had gone to google and did a search, i'm sure he would have found a lot of hits

No regrets getting a sport pack here. But I do regret not being able to get a pearl white or a Nismo at the time I was shopping.

Sport Package for sure. This is my second z. Had the Base first now the Sport Package. When I had the Base i would always see the sport version and when i saw those rims i was like...f**k lol

Plus the sport brakes are BALLLIINNN!!!

I'm sorry if this topic was redundant, but I appreciate the feed back/replies; and yes I did use the "search" function on the forums and it did not bring up any topics of which model people prefer.

If you go to google.com and put in the search box site:the370z.com you can search the forums much better than the built in search function.

don't let it happen again!! jk lol. it's ok
it would cost you more if you were to do your own upgrades than getting the sport package.

i think 99% of the people will say if you have the funds go for the sport package

janglez 05-01-2015 03:26 PM

sport package without question
