Mine didn't. Did you have the ignition in the "On" position when you pulled the fuse?

yes I redid it to make sure it was in acc and I still have the light .light stays on all time even when car off and walk away from it. I just replaced bcm . may be other issue , as I now cant open my hatch . and I been looking for the fuse if anyone know the location of the fuse please tell me I cant find one marked for hatch . I know where wires are in bcm for it but cant find fuse . bcm got water in it from wiring harness from car wash . had replace bcm , now hatch don't work and have the key light on but car recognizes the key. starts fine .drives fine just light on and hatch switch not working . I got to find fuse to see if its blown or if the switch itself shorted so I can repair it .

Invest in a multimeter (AKA VOM). A cheap one will do. You can find them at hardware/auto parts/department stores for less than $20. Then you can check for voltage to the latch solenoid at the BCM and the solenoid. And you can check the switch input, too.

I got one I just haven't got that far in tring trouble shoot it I know where wires are on bcm, but haven't pulled the cover to check for voltage . I just don't know why it would work before the bcm replacement and not after . and I checked every single fuse in car no blown fuses no where I check three times .im not sure what needed done when they replaced it besides putting vin number on bcm , I don't know if any other program needed to be done at same time they coded a spare key also so I don't know whats up but I will be checking bcm voltage.
