It is hard to lose a friend. I did not know him well but I see many of the MAZOC crew did. The couple of times we talked, it was obvious he liked his cars and seemed like a great guy. Prayers for his family as they mourn the loss.

I just caught this on facebook, which forced me to log back into this forum which has probably been years since I visited...

It hit me pretty hard for not having talked to Tony in quite a long time. I remember a lot of great times with him here on the forum, and smiled when I saw that video of him drinking shiner and having me on the list. He was a genuinely great guy, and it is sad that his life has ended much earlier than it should have.

I'll have a Shiner for you tonight, buddy!

Just found out about the sad news off facebook and it's unbelievable to see all the posts. Had many great times with Tony on the forums joking around, the video was an example of that and all the talk/PM's about his Smurf Z build.

I just wanted to come back to say something about Tony. I was thinking about why this has affected me so much today. I think it's because Tony was such a genuinely good person. So many people are assholes, to varying degrees. Tony, however, I couldn't think of a single bad thing to say about the guy. I mean really, not a single thing. It's just so gut-wrenching to lose someone as genuine, kind, and awesome as Tony while so many bad people are walking around just fine. I hope for nothing but the best for his aunt, who is unfortunately left with no family. This is a reminder that we need to live our lives and make sure the people that we care about know how we feel about them.

Well said Frosty. I'll never forget the pictures you guys did back and forth. Always new how to make people laugh that's for sure.

Those were definitely some good times. Not many people could have taken an ongoing joke like that, which speaks to what a great sense of humor he had. Just a terrific human being.

I honestly do not remember a time when he was mad lol. Always in great spirits.

While we never met person to person we communicated via this forum. Tony was a great guy and sad to hear of his passing. RIP bro

I've never been able to recreate those perfect conditions we had that evening for photos... They will forever be only for Tony, especially now.

That video of Tony was one of the first things I saw when I joined the site. Got a real good sense of what it was to be part of this family. I joked around with him some about not calling my name in that video even though he didn't have a clue who the hell I was. It was that welcome feeling I got that helped usher me further into this and now I've met so many great people across the country because of it.

Tony, I wish you the best on journey back into the cosmos.
