Now I associate multi color body kit with low end trim.
I had my Eagle Talon repainted all black to get rid of the silver on the bottom. Looked much better.

Your exact color combo is why I'm not leaving my 09 MB NISMO stock. It looks better than mine and I can't abide that.

I just need to come up with a scheme to outdo it... I'm thinking exposed brushed aluminum on the hood, or maybe custom vents, or even some one-off diffusers. Not sure yet, gotta go play with cardboard and tape for a while.

I had a 90 miata years ago that had black rockers. It looked about 14 years newer when I reprinted car 1 solid color. Again I just attributed it to being in my 30's and around cars when 2 tone was base model.

Mine was not base. It was the Tsi. Just looked stupid two tone.

If I happened to buy a 2014 Nismo, I'd paint it all one colour ASAP.

I'm not sure why the 2-tone NISMO gets so much hate. It's a far cry from the Geo Metro with the unpainted bumper that you guys drove 20 years ago when you were too broke to afford anything else.

We all know a base Talon is an economy car masquerading as a sports coupe, just like an Eclipse isn't a real sports car either... we'll give you a pass for having the TSI though.

My point is too many people still equate 2-tone with the unpainted plastic bumpers on Neons, Metros, etc. from the 90's. Times have changed.
