Nissan was a last minute addition to the 2010 Chicago Auto Show, but that didn’t mean the Japanese automaker came to the annual show empty handed. Following a JDM reveal late last year, Nissan used the Chicago show to display the 40th Anniversary Edition of its 370Z. Although strictly a cosmetic package, the 40th Anniversary Edition of the 370Z celebrates 40 years of the iconic Z car. The first Datsun 240Z hit U.S. shores on October 22nd, 1969. Based on the Nissan 370Z Coupe Touring, the 40th Anniversary Edition adds a unique Graphite paint job, Nissan’s Sport Package – which includes a manual transmission with SynchroRev Match, front spoiler, rear spoiler, upgraded brakes and 19-inch wheels – and a red leather-appointed interior. The package also includes plenty of 40th Anniversary badging, including on the rear deck, strut tower brace, seat backs and floor mats. Power for the 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition is provided by Nissan’s standard-issue 332 horsepower 3.7L V6. Deliveries of the Nissan 370Z 40th Anniversary Edition will begin later this year with a starting price of $38,860. |
Looking for a Nissan 370Z Coupe 2011 limited edition with special 40th anniversary badge and red break calipers.

He's laughing because what you say you are looking for - you will never find... The 40th is a 2010 only model.. Since 40 years represents 1970-2010. Only 1000 40ths were built for the states.. The config is not available in 2011...

40th anniv or new 2013?
2010 40th used with 29,000 miles here in FLA...dealer not coming off $32k
or 2013 gun metallic base 6 spd coupe for $33k, 5 miles... Hmmmmmm Love the 40th anniv. model, but like idea of no previous miles on my first Z since 1986 300zx (digital dash!) that I wrecked in 2001 (boo). Just opinion huntin' Thanks! Can't wait to post to 370z 'new owner' sticky :driving: - sprtlvr |

Now that Nissan screwed over the people who bought 40ths by giving red brake calipers and gun metallic rims on all 2013 models, I would go with the 2013. Only real difference is the red interior now.

leaning 2013
Yep, gun metallic 2013 + sports pack seems can get for $33,200...not shabby compared to $32k for 2010 40th...
saga continues with stealerships ;) Thanks for input! Quote:

I got my 40th used with 28K miles for 29 grand out the door. If i had to pick between the 2013 and the 40th I would keep the 40th due to them being rare and Nissan only having made 1,000 of those units, plus the interior is way nicer. You can't argue with red leather and suede. 2013's do look nice though. I figure keeping the 40th at low miles and driving my wife's car will help keep its value as the years pass. Any other Z is still just another Z.

LOL a picture like that makes the 40th look disposable as Sh*t but the real value in it is the fact that they are limited. Putting thousands of Z's that are the same color isn't as exclusive as putting only 1,000 Z's that are 40th anniversary. I guess I just have too much love for the 40th. I love all 370's and would've settled for any Z (even automatic) but I saw this one and couldn't walk away from the deal. Im not hating, just trying to explain how these cars are numbered.
