I've read that in california insurance covers hit and run under UMPD or (UM Property Damage) and that if the insurance offers UMBI or (UM Bodily Injury), it doesn't offer

I've read that in california insurance covers hit and run under UMPD or (UM Property Damage) and that if the insurance offers UMBI or (UM Bodily Injury), it doesn't offer UMPD. I was told that I'm fully covered with my policy by the agent there but on paper it seems UMPD is left blank so what does that mean? I find that if I ask now and then claim it immediately it sounds like fraud and if they say I'm not covered I want to update it and be covered and not screwed by that agent that lied to me.
