Default 2015 factory sound deadener

Was at the Chicago auto show and noticed the nismo on display had a new trunk mat with half inch white cotton fabric glued to the underside of it . I read online that there were improvements made to the wheel well liners as well.can anyone confirm this with pics?

I noticed the rear fender inner liners when Nissan brought the new NISMO to our local Cars and Coffee.

I'd be interested too.

My 2014 has the cotton material in the rear fender liners and it does nothing to help with road noise lol

I'll try to get pics today, I should be installing some sound insulating foam this afternoon to help cut back on noise.

I like the noise. I can hear how the car is reacting to the road. It's a sports car, not a luxury sedan.

when i put my hushmat in i saw very scant amounts of this cotton/gauze on some very select parts of the fender. i actually like it better with the husmat in cause i can hear the engine and exhaust a lot better over the road noise.

then again the oem tires are loud AF... especially when they are at the bar...
