Which is still a hell of a lot higher than the Z's pricepoint not to mention it has a 1.7 liter engine.

I've heard on fastlane daily the Q60 is getting a V6TT AMG Benz engine at 333 HP and a TT V8. Heard to believe and I wouldn't want a Benz engine as to me wouldn't feel like a japenese car. But Nissan and MB have been working together so wouldn't dismiss it.

Yea but for 70k I can get a 2013 gtr with less than 5k miles. 2015 gtr's are going for 85k at the dealer auction all day. Plus the Alfa doesn't look good to me personally. It's cool but I wouldn't waste my money on it. $45k for a TT Z is quite alright with me. My 2009 sticker as $43k with everything but the illuminated kick plates. |

That was the rumor months ago. Nissan has already said they aren't borrowing the engine from their new friends at Mercedes. It's going to be a new nissan engine in the q60. |

http://www.the370z.com/members/wstar...-left-disc.jpg "Renault, Nissan, Hitachi" is forged right on the throttle body. I don't think Renault uses a VQ37VHR in any of their cars, but they have borrowed other VQ models. |

I have a few friends who go to auctions. They see 2009-2012 GT-R's mostly. But never a 2015.

Most are indeed going for low to mid 80s at dealerships too. I just moved one at 106k one for 86 for a forum member and ive seen a 103k premium go for 81 this week. 17k off is about the norm the last few months since the December incentive went active The GTR market is in a bit of a severe free fall since August |
I'm seeing I can get a new 2015 GT-R in my area for 88k (not that I am ready to drop that much money on a car right now) online. Why have the GT_R prices nose-dived so badly these past few months?

I'm also patiently waiting for new details of a Z34 successor. Was happy to hear that the new 3.0tt was a Nissan unit and not Mercedes. |

but the way I see it is if the next Z has the power that is rumored and looks good i'll buy it 100% if the Z looks awful i'll probably buy the Q60. if both end up being sub-par i'll just find a way to make a new house and a GT-R work.......by selling my body. any takers? :yum: |

Loooooooooooooooooool!!!!!!!! :bowrofl: BTW continue on topic... if they come with the power that every rumor have right now... I think im in the same boat my friend! buy one :) but i think it will be the Q60 cause i dont think my GF eventually this year my Wife... want two seaters anymore.... soo if i change my Z i think i will ended up in the Q60... but trust me if the Z looks like the S30Z.. fckt im going to buy it for sure loool!! |

the Q60 looks sexy now but i'm worried that the production model might lose some of it's awesomeness if they neuter it too much looks wise. I mean how many times do we see a concept, it looks amazing, then the production model looks completely different. as for the significant other aspect i'm good if I want a 2 seater since the wifey can't wait for me to buy a new car so she can steal my Z lol I told her if she does any mods that start making it look stanced......i'll strap C4 to it and flip the switch  Quote:

But i agree bro!!! you have to spend some money to make it look good... i spend a lot :/ if i would know more about the Z34 trust me that i dont spend too much on the subie... Anyway back to the topic... I agree with you bro... the concepts always looks damn good and the production car lost a lot of goodies.... i hope the companies start making the car almost like the concepts... for example that Q60... looks freaking great... its a car that im looking in it! ihope the production car looks almost the same... but we know what are going to happen :shakes head: |

but i'm with you thinking it's a long shot. fingers crossed I guess lol |

Whats the new Q60 gonna run you think? $50K easy I bet?
|
Quote:
given that it is infinti and not Nissan that price isn't out of the realm of possibility. especially with the 2015 Q60S starting at 47k and the limited version starting at 50K. then the vert IPL basing at 62k. |

Damn. I should start saving then. But I don't want an automatic transmission. Too boring

think about it for a second. a MT is a pain in the ass for everyday driving. the part where driving gets fun is pedal to the floor, on a track, on the dragon or twisties, etc.... balls out the AT is just as fun if not more than a MT. yes the MT diehards will argue the MT you have more control and feel blah blah blah. it's all the same......just minus a pedal. either model you're control shifts, RPMs, which gear you want going in and out of corners. yes the AT you cant jump 4th to 2nd or 5th to 3rd or whatever needs to be done. but it's still fun and useful. now no more MT v AT talk. I like this thread too much lol :tiphat: |
