Maybe someone can photo shop it for you. Keep in mind when you order the bumper it will be unpainted so you will need to show the painter where to paint red and hope it comes out good.

I called the Auto Nation dealership where I purchased my 2012 370Z w/ Sports Package and asked about the new Nismo. Said they weren't expecting any until October at the earliest, but told me they could special order one if I wanted. No price was given, plus I don't wanna' deal with dealer mark-up on a new model. I went through the USAA Truecar buying service before and got a decent discount and would prefer to follow the same steps again.

1.) Order Guide / Reference Guide 2.) Open Allocation (sometimes called Allocation Number) The Order Guide is what the dealer uses to actually order the car. It shows what options are available, how much it costs, etc. Most dealers won't actually let you look at the Order Guide, because it shows what they really pay, but they should be able to prove they have one. The Open Allocation is basically the order number. It's what's used for status reports: can the dealership even get the car, what date will it be built at the factory, what's the car's status, how long until delivery, VIN, etc. Any dealership can promise to preorder anything you want -- but only those who can pull it off will have an Order Guide and Open Allocation. At least that's been my experience. |

Makes no sense for them to be holding out on the Zs unless there are a lot of '14s left. If their sales are up why would you choke up sales by limiting supply?
My guess is they delay is due to the changes to the '15 Nismo and there being tons of '14 Nismos still unsold. Why would anyone buy a '14 when the '15 is more desirable? |

Verdict is still out on that question. Not everyone likes the new body kit and/or prefers the old look. Also the new body kit is being "photoshopped" on every model of Nissan, so that's turning off people who aren't supportive of Nissan making all their NISMO look the same. We'll see soon enough. IMHO the 2015 NISMO's biggest sales point is having an automatic option. That opens the flood gates to a larger demographic that wouldn't (or couldn't) touch a stick. I personally think the 370Z market is oversatured and Nissan needs to get the next generation Z out, but who knows... maybe this is the gimmick Nissan needs to squeeze better numbers. ![]() ![]() Here is a sneak peek of how the front bumper looks on my 40th Z. Big thanks to CoolToy for getting this done! I will get different sides and thinking about older rear nismo bumper. Last edited by shurik355; 07-30-2014 at 10:35 PM. |
