The Japanese Nissan site has pricing info for the cars (and can be ordered in Japan):

370Z NISMO 2015 Automatic is 5,310,000 yen (without Japanese tax). That comes to $51,667 at the current exchange rate.

370Z NISMO 2015 Manual is 5,210,000 yen (without Japanese tax). That comes to $50,694 at the current exchange rate.

Does not include all the extra goodies. The extra options available that are shown:

* The navigation adds another 504,360 yen ($4,907).

* Floor lights in the cabin adds another 34,251 yen ($333).

Note these are the Japanese domestic prices for the base model. We might also end up paying more depending on export taxes and what not.

So knowing this will be the general price... are you willing to pay this much for the car?

No one is going to pay $55k+ for this car. Should be no more than $43-45k.

Illumination package was to set the color space of the good-quality adult room as "welcome lamp" and "Moody illumination" ● welcome lamp (reddish orange) ● Moody illumination (reddish orange)

hahahahah

Good grief. I really want a 7AT with the tech package, but if these prices stay the same over here, that puts it at $56.5K. No way. I'll buy a new C7 Corvette if we're talking $50K+.

Exactly. That's my point. That price puts it easily into new vette range along with other used car ranges such as Lotus, BMW M3/4, GTR... take your pick. It just won't sell. I think they're raping their own market. Hell, i'd rather have a loaded Q50S

Wait a second... looks like the 2015 NISMO has gained weight?

Nevermind. I was reading the wrong lines.

According to the Japanese site: MT is 1630 kilograms and AT is 1640 kilograms for gross weight.

The 2014 model is 1800 kilograms gross weight according to this sheet:

http://www.newsroom.nissan-europe.co...01214_1_5.aspx

So she lost some weight.

shurik355 07-31-2014 05:31 PM

^^^^ that's great news!!! but still if it's over 50K ... it will hardly sell.

Im also on Nissan USA facebook page. There's no way you can write them there. No comment section unless you're commenting on a certain picture that they post.

It won't be over 50K. Just because that is the Japanese price, does not mean it will be the US price. It will be priced accordingly to the market, demand, perceived competition, etc.

Absolutely and it certainly won't be. Early figures pegged it right around $44k. Given the updates I would say that's acceptable.

1630 kg is 3600 pounds.... The nismo is 3350

Figured out your issue it says 1535 not 1630 on that sheet which is the same weight as now

Quoting my own post, wee!!

The one thing I forgot to mention was dealer markup. The markup will be strong with this one. I wouldn't doubt that someone will pay over 50K after markup. Be patient or find a decent dealer. I remember back when the 1M was released. People were getting bent over on the markup.
