What aftermarket exhaust is everyone running?
 

Finally have the itch to change the exhaust; need something with a more aggressive tone. I have the ART pipes now. Just want to see what everyone is running these days. I like F.I., but I am to inpatient to wait months for a product. Been looking into the Motordyne Shockwave, it seems a little pricey but not a deal breaker . Just looking for peoples opinions and setups. And yes i have searched on this forum, just looking for more current posts and not ones that are years old.

I'm currently running the Tomei titanium single exit exhaust, I decided on this exhaust after trying out the greddy evo 3 model. I've always been a fan of the large canister exhaust (sad greddy discontinued the greddy ti-c model) The Tomei is very aggressive but loud, two things the evo 3 was lacking plus the fitment of the Tomei was spot on. F.I does good work but I'm not a fan of the stock look, most of the guys in the local group here run F.I or motordyne.

Im running a custom dual with stock muffler. Sound is okay but for price it cant be beat. Go to Youtube and listen to them. This may help you decide on what route you want to go with.

I go to shows a lot, so I just wanted my Exhaust to really turn heads, so I expanded the Nismo Exhaust, took out the muffler and lengthen a bit so they're more noticeable
For now till I buy FI long tube and System

wasn't interested in buying exhaust but ever since riding in my friend's genisis coupe, think I'm going to go with FI CBE

I've got the FI exhaust and I love them.

I was at the dealer last week and while they were pulling my car around everyone was talking about how great it sounded.

I'd have to agree, the FI sound AWESOME!

I get a lot of compliments on how my exhaust sounds and looks.. I am running FI resonated test pipes and their CBE with the Carbon Fiber muffler..

AAM mid pipe w/ AAM shortails love the sound.

I currently have FI 3" exhaust because I'm boosted and it is amazing. Prior to going boosted I had an AAM True dual exhaust installed. I got all kinds of compliments with it as well. http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...e+dual+exhaust

i currently have a berk exhaust with FI LTH... it sounds great, but i'm itching for a different set exhaust tips. The berk exhaust tips are mediocre looking i think.

ARK GRiP is the s***!! its calm at highway driving and idle, but growls like crazy when u press on it

Waste of money. Open headers for me.

Fast Intentions CBE w/ 18" res. Loving every second...and sound. Got my first horn yesterday. I think I scared the lady when I passed her.

if you can adjust the tips to come out a bit more then it should fit. i know this is the exhaust i would run if i could. :yum:

I don't see many people posting about the Motordyne Shockwave exhaust. From what i found it sounds awesome. Looks like all the Infiniti guys love their product. has anyone herd this in person, and how does it compare to FI?

you guys thihnk FI sounds nicer than gthaus ? Gthaus sounds more "obnoxious" i guess but not in a super bad way if that makes sense lol. So hard to judge by video clips

They both nice. GThaus is even louder.

I had both and personally I feel GTHAUS sounds much better, they are both nice though.

FI non resonated here. So glad I waited for this amazing exhaust!!!

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I was curious if you guys noticed much of a gain over the stock NISMO exhaust. I saw that F.I. (for example) claims a 20hp gain with their TDX exhaust, but that's on a base model, right? Just wondering how much of a gain there is over that NISMO exhaust.

I also think this is the best sounding exhaust. F.I. is second, but too loud for me.

Well I can officially chime in and say not the ARK from my opinion. Heard one the other day as the guy took off and it truly sounded like a Civic...with bees...in a coffee can. Once again, just my .02
