OIL Question

It only has 1,000 miles on it. I only changed the oil cuz i already had the oil cuz i was about to change the oil on my 2011 Z before I traded it in for the 13 NISMO. So i Just changed it cuz I didnt have the receipt for the oil and the filter is a bitch to get off, its really on there tight. my filter remover keeps slipping. The dipstick says a little bit above full. But I put in less than 5qt. Im just wondering if the 2 or 3oz extra is gonna be a problem or not.

Oh and im In the military and leaving in a month. And I didnt want to just waste the oil I bought and didnt want to ship it seems like too much of a hassle so i put it in my car.

Oh OK. I was just worried that the 3 oz would throw it off and mess something up. Yeah I have a new filter that I was gonna put into my 2011 Z before I traded it. But I just cant get this OEM oil filter off this 13 NISMO lol. The equipment I used for my 11 Z keeps slipping off of it.

So I just drained the Oil and put the new Royal Purple oil I had in there.

Im going to San Diego.

Not really, I wouldn't worry.

During the break in process your car will probably burn more oil anyways...

But I'm sorry, the filter change, especially on SUCH a new car is worth 10 times more than the oil that's in there
