supsupsup

since this is my first rwd car im not sure what i should be looking for in tire land haha...

this isnt the noob what are good prices thread i just want to know what fellow nismo owners are running or plan on running

I am still on Stock Wheels

maybe

Current: Advan Sport (OEM)
Next Set: Bridgestones? ive seen the 305 setup but 285 or 295 is cool too (REAR ONLY)

if this car is at the track its at either the 1/4 or the 1/8th mile due to locations , i do have fun on the street but no donuts or burnouts haha

thanks guys

Re11's or advan's again would be my vote if you are ok with the short life.

I am giving the Hankook Evo 12's a try on the rear only... I figure I will burn through them quick enough with the SC to be even with the fronts and need a full set. So far I like them. I am pondering PS2's next but we will see... they grip like crazy but don't last long. If these Hankook's keep me satisfied in terms of noise I may give them a shot all around.

My job gets me some good tire connections and exposure... RE11's, PS2's are going to have good grip, short life, higher price. Kumho's and Hankook's have decent grip, better longevity, lower price.

my advice, stick to the OEM tire sizes. if you live where the roads are bad a lil side wall height is a plus.

the factory advans are a great tire....

I'm at 18K on my stock Advans, so far so good but will need new shoes soon too! I wanna roll a 295 in the rear though, not sure about a 305. Might just stick to a 285..

I really like the Advan's, but I have Hankook V12s on the rear for now. When I have to replace the fronts, I am going back to Advan's all around. Don't get me wrong the V12s are really good for the price, but they are not as sticky as the Advan's (and I kinda miss that)

Very true. I got 25k outta my rears, but I wasn't doing burnouts and such either. A little controlled sliding, but nothing for any real distance.

Well road condition does play a large part in handling. Maybe they will give you a good amount of grip to dodge those potholes.
