What are your alignment specs on your lowered Nismo?

birdman make sure you dont have the factory specs for the sport package. the nismo has a different factory alignment spec sheet. it should say nismo somewhere at the top

birdman make sure you dont have the factory specs for the sport package. the nismo has a different factory alignment spec sheet. it should say nismo somewhere at the top of that form you have. if memory serve me well the rear camber on the nismo is a min of -1.4, your sheet says -1.2.

Fuct, thanks for confirming. I'm about to go back for another realignment with the shop and I'll hound them on that setting man. I take it the specialist didn't have the Nismo settings.
+1 for info

does anyone else notice that when coming to a stop, the car wants to drastically pull to the left.

and also, it seems when just driving down a straight road the car really likes to wander, like a drunk is driving the car.

is this all due to the alignment specs or what?

you definitely have some bad alignment/balance. my nismo doesnt have any brake pull. as for driving straight and not being stable, there are a few things that could be wrong. alignment, wheel balance, and tires.

check em all. id start off by asking you, do you have matched tires? (front and rears are the same brand/model). if yes, get your wheels rebalanced. if this doesnt fix it, check your alignment, your toe could be out of wack

I am looking to get some information pertaining to your alignment specs once you lowered your Nismo. I am in the process of getting my Nismo aligned after swift springs drop but would like to retain a slight bit of negative camber. Any information pertaining to your experience would be greatly appreciated and would be helpful for others (I hope).

Nismo 370 Alignment Specs:
Front
Camber -.58
Caster 8.17
Toe 0.03

Rear
Camber -1.58
Toe 0.08
I am just wondering if your alignment factory specs are correct (front and back)? I always thought the front camber stock settings were -1.58 for the Nismo? The reason I ask is that FINALLY SPL Parts in Austin has a 2nd generation prototype ready for testing for the front camber arms for the 370z. I have only been harassing them for 2+ years now. If all goes well, I will be the lucky one to test these out next week at Harris Hill and I want to know exactly what the factory settings for camber, caster and toe are (front at least anyway) before they make changes. Granted, we will take measurements before we install the new hardware but I am looking for the exact measurements before the change out. I have an 09 Nismo. At this point I am just going to leave the rear end alone and see what happens. Thanks for any help.

I've got the same issue on my '13. It seems like I'm riding in the grooves of the road most of time. When I get into the passing lane it goes away. Try avoiding the lanes semi's drive in and see if it goes away.

Guys I have noticed as you lower the Z that the ideal Toe for the rear is ~.20 total toe (IN). This helps mitigate camber wear and also helpswith corner turn in response.

I know with my tein springs. (almost an inch and a half drop) my camber upfront is sitting at -1.6/-1.7..... so factory must be in that -.5/-.6 range stock. the sheets from nissan are on the forum somewhere.

rear i remember factory camber being something like -1.4/-1.6 im at -2.2ish with no camber kits.

im eating tires every 10-12k miles

At the setting I have, my tires wear is even all around. I have yet to stop at the alignment shop once again and check the Nismo settings.
