Lowering the Nismo

I am determined to lower my 2009 Nismo by ~1 inch, front gap looks too large for my taste, plus I am thinking of going to the track on more regular bases and would like to be closer to the ground

Any known options?
I called Tein today, they said that they have not tested any of their products on 2009+ Nismo. I am starting to think I should have gotten a regular 370 model.

Why would any manufacturer sell something that they have not tested? It seems like there research and developement is on the outs especially if they are making a product for a specific model. I would look else where imo. Im with ya on lowering the front an inch or so. I think they keep it up on stock trim so your everyday guy dont scrape so much.

Yeah go with the swift. I just got mine a few days ago from Japan. Find jj-nismo and look at his pics of his car after the swift springs . The springs actually level the car out perfectly and they improve the ride both on the street and the track.

You cannot go wrong with the Swift Springs. I did both front and Rear Camber when I did mine. I looked at it this way " I am already there may as do it". We also installed my Rotora 6/4 brake kit at the same time.

The drop on the swifts looks great in person.

Why? The Nismo Z is just a Base Z with stuff added to it, thats why. It's the same car!

Anyways, I had the Nismo Ed suspension on my car and it sucked. I got the Swifts and they are awesome. About a 1" drop.

regardless a nismo has different valved shocks/spring rates...i heard nothing but good things about swift...i drive my car a lot on a daily basis so i went to eibach pro-kit which has stock spring rates but progressive springs vs the stock linear spring which is more towards performance...its a bit less harsh on the pot holes and what not and handles the same to me.

with keeping the stock spring rates u also keep the longevity of the life of the struts.

This threads kinda got me thinking about getting some springs. I like the way both the eibach and the swift springs make the car sit. I wouldn't want it any lower than that though.
