Default lug nuts on 2015+ Nismo wheel

Hello folks, I'm planning on getting red lug nuts on my wheels. Any suggestions or anything I should be aware of? I do know that with colored lugs, there is a big chance of chipping and fading. I just want to know all my options before moving on this. Thanks!

eh? What about Rays or Amuse?

EDIT: looks like that's a negative, assuming the 15-16 Nismo's haven't changed:

rays anodized lug nuts on factory wheels,

I have rays lugs and wanted them on my stock nismo wheels but the lugs are an acorn seat and the stocks are not.

The stocks are super light and strong. I think powdercoating a semi gloss black would be nice

Bumping an old thread, but it blows my mind that no one is making an aftermarket set of lug nuts to fit the OEM wheels. There is clearly a want for them. Z1 could make a small fortune if they made these for us. I'm another guy looking for OEM style lugs for my Rays!!

Actually, we do have an option. I have no idea on price yet, but I can't imagine it being any more than a set of aftermarket lugs... Maybe even less.

I will likely end up taking my OEM lug nuts to be anodized (ie: the same coating on all coloured lugs) at a local shop, in the spring. I don't care about the shape of the heads, etc. I just want them to be red, which any anodizing shop can do. Rejoice!

Shiiiiiet... Maybe not.

Sounds like anodizing is only good for aluminum, titanium, and a few other metals. Not anything iron based. I have no idea what our OEM lugs are made of, but I highly doubt they are aluminum. They're not that light. I will talk to the shop anyway, to get their thoughts on it, or if there is anything else I can do, but I'm not holding my breath.

I ended up powder coating my lugs red along with my wheel's lip silver areas.

Don't mind the grime
