Default Front spring "spacers"?

Hey all, I recently got a 2014 370Z Nismo, and I noticed today that the front springs have what looks like a black spacer on each one, it this suppose to be there or removed? It looks like it would make the ride much stiffer since the springs can't compress like they should. Thanks!!

Those are the shipping spacers, and should have been removed.

But again another dealer fail.

Thats pretty much has happened many times so remove them and enjoy a smother ride.

There's dedicated sticky just for this issue

LOL, another dealer fail. I bought my car with 19k miles and they still had them in there also. Gotta chuckle about it.

This always makes me laugh because these are the same people your suppose to take back and trust with warranty issues... That's why I canceled my extended warranty and started modding without any worries they don't know what's suppose to be there and not from the beginning lol

It's a forgivable oversight in my opinion. The Nismo Z is likely the only car on their lot that would ship with these and most dealers only have one or two.

How much of a difference in ride height does it make?
