Just got a new 2018 370Z Nismo in pearl white.

I didn’t like the spoiler so I had a Evo-R high wing installed
And painted at my local body shop. Also put on AAM Shor Tails
With titanium tips. I have had it about 3 weeks and thought it needed more
Power so right now it’s at the tune shop getting the stillen supercharger kit
That’s comes with the tune and injectors. Also getting a oil cooler kit
And AAM High Flow Cats an Injen full cat back system with Titanium tips and
A boost gauge that goes in one of the 3 pods on the dash also a mishimoto aluminum radiator. Spending about 15k for everything and pick it up in 3 days. Will post picks and dyno results. The 2018 Nismo got a new EXEDY high-performance clutch. EXEDY L-PEC (Light Pedal Effort Clutch) so I think the clutch should be fine with the added power.
Here are some pics of the Evo-R High Wing and some of the parts from the supercharger kit.

Very Nice, may be the last year of the 370.
You may want to message (TopgunZ) about that SC kit you have,,,as he has improved components on the kit to improve it.
I’ve seen a number of stories on here over the past few years with some various issues,,,But he has the stuff to make everything work better than an out the box kit.
It’s could potentially save you a headache.
Congratulations on your Z.

Congratulations one beautiful Nismo Z you have there. Since you decided to go the forced induction route definitely do your research here on your Stillen supercharger kit you will be glad you did save yourself the misery.

Thanks everyone. Jchammond what specific parts does topgunz improve on? Is he a vender? Stillen has different kits with different prices. I got the most expensive one with the tune and injectors. If there is something widely known about a problem with the stillen kit or how the 370z performs with this kit let me know so I can change it beforehand. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Yes; air to air conversion & other things,,,Idk how to post a link; but I’ll screenshot his page so you can contact him if desired.
He’s helped lots of members make their SC kit more efficient/reliable.

Great! Thanks for the fast response

As others have said, with the $$ investment you are making you need to do some research on the shortcomings of the stillen kit. Topgunz A2A and an Ecutek tune solves the problems and will get you a lot more power.
Also - your bolt-on HFC's may not last very long in conjunction with the SC... too much heat. Most people have to add the cats further downstream. Otherwise - going to be an exciting build!

Definitely be weary of the Stillen kit and their can tune. Topgunz A2A seems to be doing people right. One item you mentioned was adding a boost gauge to the dash trip pod. All three pods are a single unit. You cannot just change one. You are better of getting a pillar pod. Jason (GaleForce) makes some pretty sweet ones which several of us boosted guys are running.

Nice pair of Z's!

I still vividly recall seeing a new Z06 quietly cruising, then dropped the hammer at 70mph....my jaw dropped

Congrats!

Wow good info guys. Thanks for the heads up on the pod not being a single unit but there are plenty of videos on YouTube showing them replaced. Here is a link on some Defi CR gauges https://youtu.be/_onoxX7-KmU.

Also some Prosport JDMs here. https://youtu.be/q9wSIGJcmv0
The guy that installed his 60mm Prosports used needle nose pliers to take out the gauges from the top but said it was a tight fit but 52mm is a lot less pain to do.
There are plenty of posts on this forum that shows how to take the pods out without removing the dash and installing new gauges. Here is the link. http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...e-cluster.html

The gauge bracket is one piece but the gauges themselves can be taken out. I will attach a pic of the gauges out of the dash still attached to the bracket. Talked to the shop today and everything is done but there waiting on Stillen to send back the tune file. The shop said Friday by the latest. I know there are better setups and you could run more boost but this will be my daily and I’m just sticking to the stillen tune and warranty guidelines. I Thought it Just needed a little more kick. If my 370z Nismo was my only car I just would of went with a TT setup.
I got my 2018 Z06 when I want more HP :hello:
