Welcome to the best forum, seems you are already getting some good info

So I talked with Stillen and they said the AAM HFC are not supported by them cause the heat causes the packing to break apart and it might blow the motor. So the shop is not going to install them. Test pipes or the stock cats will be better. So uprev said they have to “crack” my ECU cause my Nismo is a 2018 and my ECU is not supported. The problem is that uprev is at some event in NC and they can’t get to it until Monday. So looks like The Nismo will be at the shop all weekend. The shop is sending me pics of the build and I will upload the pics to you guys as soon as I get them. Again Thanks everyone for the great info!

Good call on the wing!!
I want to do the same. Did you buy a whole new trunk or what? I know the OEM nismo wing has like 30 holes...

The body shop only had to fill 4 holes that are on the lower part of the lid that the wing didn’t cover. The rest of the holes matched up by the Evo-R wing. Getting a whole new lid/trunk would of cost way to much$$ and I have a center console hatch release button that would no longer work if I would of gotten a older trunk/hatch. There are 17 holes all together when you remove the stock wing. I will post a pick of the 4 holes that hast to be filled. It was no big deal. Took 2 days for the whole install and paint. For painting the wing and my whole lid plus install it was $800. Looks really good. Here are some more pics of the wing plus circled in red are the 4 holes to fill.

Definitely be weary of the Stillen kit and their can tune. Topgunz A2A seems to be doing people right. One item you mentioned was adding a boost gauge to the dash trip pod. All three pods are a single unit. You cannot just change one. You are better of getting a pillar pod. Jason (GaleForce) makes some pretty sweet ones which several of us boosted guys are running.

So you can take out one of the gauges. You just de-pin one and install the new one (boost gauge) and the other 2 will still work. There are about 3-4 DIY post on this forum on how to replace the gauges with upgraded ones. Also YouTube has videos on some upgraded gauges in the triple pod. When the shop sends me the pics will post them. Thx for the heads up though.

That must be a recent development. You got a link?

There are 2 videos above your post and there are several topics on it in this forum. Here is one: http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...e-cluster.html

The shop said if you only want to change one out you de-pin it and the other 2 stock ones that are left will still work fine. They have done several Zs this way. When I get pics of the Boost Gauge in the triple pod I will post the pics

Ya I just got lucky because the other 2 shops that I called said they didn’t even want to do the job unless it was replacing the stock wing with the same wing. Your just going to have to call around but just tell them or show them what holes they have to fill and what it looks like with the wing off. tell them that the new wing will line up and cover all the other holes they should feel a lot better about it and not charge a lot. Basically the only “extra” work is to fill in the Bottom holes. Not to hard.

How many of the extra holes does the evo r wing use?
I'm going to do the carbon version and leave the top carbon to match my other carbon parts:)

I will plan to take the wing and trunk off myself and install the new wing myself. But the shop here is spot on for the white paint match as they did my handles and they are dead on.

Why do you have to take the trunk off? I don’t know exactly how many holes the Evo-R High wing reuses to bolt itself down but it covers any extra holes. Just not the lower 4 that I circled.
