The wife and I are actually planning to relocate to AZ in the next year or so. Hope the Z family there is good!

In my experiences, that's usually a symptom of a worn out clutch disc.
I don't know your clutch setup or its age, though.

The delay is due to a clutch restrictor in the clutch line located in the LH wheel well behind the fender lining

Replace it or drill it out ... or wait for RJM to release their heavy duty master cylinder which comes with a kit that removes the restrictor entirely. Search the forum for 'clutch restrictor' - not sure there's a whole lot of info on the master kit yet. But there are several threads on the restrictor.

The car looks beautiful.

I drove a Nismo 370Z completely stock with very very low miles, was not impressed at all.
The body style is unique and a head turner, looks fast but thats about it. Nissan should concentrate on making a lighter platform with similar engine.

Do you have any timeslips or G-Tech readings?
