I did it to mine and it makes a noticeable difference. It's not hard to do but it took me about 4 - 4 1/2 hours for both doors and the hatch.

Buying the plastic tools to remove the interior parts of the Z and the dynamat on Amazon cost me approx $60, if memory serves me correctly.
