Default Sold the Cayman S, reporting for duty!

After much deliberation over color choice and options, I put a deposit down yesterday on a 2010 Pearl White 370Z, Sport Package, splash guards and kick plates. My dealer could not find a 09 PW anywhere in the New England area, so I decided to order a 2010. Unfortunately the car may not arrive until the snow starts to fall, in that case it will go from dealer prep to a reserved spot in my garage until mid March!

Previously owned a 2006 G35 Coupe 6MT and I recognize a few of our members from my G35 Driver forum days. My last car was a 2007 Cayman S which was a joy to drive and own, but with my foolish desire to get rid of cars after a few years, here I am back with Nissan. Am looking forward to my new Z and feel that it is the best performance buy on the market.

Thanks to G35guy84, tranceformer and zero, your car photos sealed the deal on my final choice of color, PG came in a close second! My best to everyone and I look forward to your help with aftermarket exhaust decisions in the future.

The master plan was to sell the Porsche, buy a new house, then purchase a 2010 Cayman S which will have 320 HP and some improved exterior tweaks. After moving and setting up the new place, I visited my brother in Cincinnati and while there we checked out the new 370Z which had just arrived. I loved the car and after some more research, I came to the easy conclusion that the Z was a close performance match with the Cayman, and at half the price. Was always nervous taking the CS into town and leaving it parked unsupervised, now I will only be half as nervous with the 370Z!

But you still won't get that sexy interior and the sexier PDK gearbox Lol just messing with you, congrats on the purchase. Dealers in Dubai don't even know what a 370Z is yet haha

Welcome and Conrgrats!

My brother was the first in his area to own an 06 Cayman S. Awesome car! Something about the rear end of that car just looks goooooood

I have to agree though, with the Z you get a car that is comparable in so many ways, except price.

Enjoy your Z! And oh yeah, you should have gone with PG!

Just kidding PW is a great choice.

I was surprised today at that. Walked by the dealer in Deira today and saw two 350Zs on the showroom floor, even with the original Rays track wheels still too!

schrute, was so close to buying a PG with the Sport Package last Friday from a dealer in Manchester, NH. My dealer in Portland was going to do a swap for me but I decided to wait it out for PW. Being patient is not one of my strong points!
