Hi Everyone. I have been looking at 3 very different and, each in its own way, great used cars: a 2006 Cayman S, 2015 Mustang GT, and 2009-2013 Nismo. I think the Z is hands-down the best looking of the three! What a classy and timeless design! QUESITON: I was wondering if anyone can recommend a really good Z mechanic in mid-state Delaware or nearby? I would need to have the car I'm looking at thoroughly inspected before purchase (since I will not have the opportunity to see the car in person). Also, on a Nismo with about 24k miles, does anyone feel that a compression-check is necessary? (I was quoted the price of $500 just for that!) Thank you for your help! H

You'll have better luck asking this question in the regional forums.

Of the three it is not only the best looking but it is also the most reliable. The Cayman would be the one I would be worried the most about as far as mechanical issues...euro cars break down all the time and when they do cost 2x as much to fix. A compression test is overkill on a Japanese made car IMOP with this kind of historical track record, unless it has been heavily modified. Just have a ASE Certified pre inspection group do a multipoint inspection on it looking for any problems. Some groups will send you multiple pictures and some even send a video.
