Honestly paying a ton of money for the nav has never really made sense to me. I actually like having the cubby space and I am very satisfied with the $130 i spent total (mount and GPS unit) on the little garmin unit I have had. I actually prefer its location much more to the dash anyway since its near where you see your mpg and other stuff and you don't have to move your eyes away from the wheel as much. I don't have a great pic that shows more of the gps/wheel but I think you can get an idea from this pic:
Very happy with my setup. I don't care that much about the power cable and it could be hidden much better if I wanted to. |
