I recently bought a 2011 370z (red) base model, manual. I am new at driving stick shift. I noticed when I shift from 1st gear in 3000 RPM and up it is fine but if I shift it somewhere in between it makes this grinding sound. Is that normal?

Congrats on the new ride!

I've never had my tranny grind. Unless, you aren't pushing the clutch all the way in...
