Possible 370Z Owner - New Forum Member

Howdy, this is my first post. I saw the 370Z at the auto show in Minneapolis a couple of months ago and knew immediately it would be my next car.

Howdy, this is my first post. I saw the 370Z at the auto show in Minneapolis a couple of months ago and knew immediately it would be my next car. The true test will be when I take one out for a test drive. I am holding back on that for the moment because if i do, I will want to have one now. I am currently driving a 2007 infiniti G35X and I like it very much. My lease isn't up until March of next year, so I am trying not to get too excited. The posta and info form other forum members is just great, it will help me out a lot when the buy time does come.

Talking 370z

Hey Kirk

I'm in your same situation. Good to know we'll have enough time to read and review all kind of specs on the 370Z and learn from experience of actual owners. I'm thinking on the base model w/ sport package...

JR, I plan to get the Touring with sport and everything else you can get on it. My G35X is totally loaded and the Z will cost me less than the G. CAn't beat it for the money. I am really temped to take a test drive. If not the Z my 2nd choice would be the G35X coupe.

Kirk, both are excellent choices. They have the same VQ37 engine. However, since the G37X is AWD, it's about 450 lbs. heavier than the Z, which makes it a bit slower at launch or when trying to get into traffic. The Z has an excellent power / weight ratio. I'll bet the moment you test drive it, you'll feel it more agile then the Infinity. Please let us know your impressions
