My first car was my mom's Dodge Colt, but the first car I purchased was a Toyota MR-2 SC. Having a few years driving experience helped when the MR-2 made it too easy to make a mistake, and you can make much bigger mistakes in the 370Z. Also, don't turn off the VDC until you have had track school
