I'm a member of Gencoupe.com as well... search my name. I joined 10-2008, before the car was even in showrooms because I was set on getting one.

I read the forums all the time and when the day came for me to drive a 3.8 Track, I left the dealership pissed off because of how disappointed I was.

I know why I didn't buy one... because it seemed like it was cheaply made and the gearbox is garbage.

Everyone has their own opinions about it and honestly the best choice I made was to NOT buy a Gen Coupe, wait 2 more years an buy the car I really wanted.

The 370Z.

One of the many things I like about the Z is it seems to be a much more mature group of owners. The only derogatory remarks I have seen on this forum come from owners of other vehicles...hmmm
