No gear grinding, but the 6mt does take a bit of getting used to. The shift from 1 to 2 is typically the hardest to master. I can't remember who, but someone posted some good advice for the 1-2 shift: Shift slow if you are going slow- shift fast if you are going fast. All other gears are smooth as butter. The car pulls very even through the gears. I can't comment yet on high revs since I'm still in break-in period ~200 miles to go.
