Don't you worry about CARB. You can do a lot to your car in CA with little to no issues. I dealt with it myself and managed it with a little time and small fine. I got pulled over in ARIZONA by DPS, when I was rushing to Gilbert when my brother was in ICU. They said my tint was too dark. Turns out it wasnt after they used their meter. Id rather stay within the dumb regs than deal with the hassle, you get really bored CHP and local police that have nothing better to do than harass people.
