These pics were taken last November of last year. I didnt have the RSX type-S back then. The RSX typse is my daily driver now since we moved to Newnan from Midtown. I do drive a 100 miles round trip a day, so i needd something a little more comfortable and better gas mileage.

This picture came from the original owner. I have new pics of them on facebook, but for some reason the URL on facebook doesnt work here...

Get rid of the white S2... drive the wifes one when you miss it... or give your wife the white s2 and get rid of the blue one... Its a no brainer man

Now that I see the 04 is suzuka blue and not laguna blue, I care about it even less. haha!

Keep the evo!

Dooooode, what is it with you and the illuminated kick plate? That is an option on any car, it has nothing to do with Base or Touring. :icon14:

Dooooood, it means i don't have that option. As in my car is completely base inside. I didn't say anything about the Touring having it. Doooooood :shakes head:

lastest Update

Looks like my 370z might end up being a xmas 370z.

A dealership in Tennesse offered $19000 for my Evo 9 MR with 60K miles.

They are selling their 370z used Monterrey Blue with Sport/Tourting/Nav and 6400 miles for 31215 + 197.50 dealer fee and 20 tag fee. I also got approved for their financing for 4.09 through Chase Finance. With $4000 down and 4.09% interest my payments for 72 months equals 399.xx

Another scenario is they are giving me $9000 for my RSX typs-S with 90,000 miles on it. Which would make me $2000 upside down. I will be the same payment just need to put $6000 down instead of $4000.

what do u guys think? I`d like to hear from y`all... to see if this is an ok deal?

shabarivas 12-22-2009 05:25 PM

Definately keep the evo over the RSX - think of it like this: you pay 2k to keep the evo over the RSX. if you are financing the Z - i dont think you should be buying it - but thats personal opinion.

oo7mech 12-22-2009 05:38 PM

If you rid of the RSX then you have only one car payment. Which would be better long term. Extra money your saving to do your future mods.
I'm a fan of only 1 car payment. Which is why i'm trying to sell these cars.

matrix_square 12-22-2009 05:54 PM

i still have a lien on both cars... 11,000 left on the rsx-s and 15998 on the evo...

Personally I don't think it’s a very sound finical decision to be buying another car at this point. You currently owe over 25K on just cars. You have two, 2 seat sports cars, a fast 4 door AWD, and an Acura. Even if you got rid of the S2000 and got the Z you would still have 2 cars that essentially do the same thing. We all know the economy is in the toilet, why risk adding any more debt when you can't predict what will happen tomorrow? I don't want to come off as a jerk or anything, but I think you should be happy with what you have (which by the way are 4 nice cars) and you need to stop trying to impress people, or even yourself with fancy things.

making sense

I honestly understand what you are saying... Im not trying to impress other people, cause i was trying i would probably just buy a GT-R and call it a day. But thats just not me... You are right i should be happy with these cars, which i am. I am just trying to get a better car, than the RSX or Evo. Which everyone has their own opinion on those cars. Trust me i am tempted to just stay put, but every time i see a pictures of a 370z the more i want it.

For me i do not have any vice at all... So driving nice cars is all that i can have fun with at the moment. I also drive 100 mile commute a day, so basically if i will be stuck in a car for 3-4 hours a day in atlanta traffic i might as well enjoy my commute.

Thank God the economy has no effect on me, i rent out my houses. I`ve got two paid off houses that i rent out and another thats half way there.

sell the evo, sell the rsx, and the high millage S2K, get the z and and keep the low millage s2k. this means money, happiness, and alot less on your shoulders. i know plenty of people that drive an s2k as a daily. :)
