ibtl

but really... 1000cc injectors?

you realize that our stock injectors aren't even close to being pushed on the most generous of NA builds right?

and if you were going to go FI uh... why bother waste money? and on top of that the e85/cam changes? uhh right... maybe you should spend some money on education.

A stock block 370z can handle over 675WHP. Look it up. It's been done in Oregon by the owner and tuner himself. I went with a 125 shot because at this moment I chose to go the route I did and already have a turbo car that I race. Will I eventually go built block and turbo? Yes, eventually I will.

Can you post a link? I googled...found nothing on a PREracing 370z

CASHJON 02-29-2016 02:12 PM

preracing.com

FPenvy 02-29-2016 02:12 PM

PREracing - Performance Car Parts, Forced Induction Systems, AWD dyno tuning

this is what i found.

Chuck33079 02-29-2016 02:19 PM

So what does it trap?

Race season hasn't started in the NW yet. Not open for a week or two for 1/4 racing. I can honestly give two ***** what it traps. It's primarily used for running errands around town in.

The trap speed will tell you if you're really making the power the dyno claims. And why a 125 shot on something for running errands?

CASHJON 02-29-2016 02:24 PM

Because if I felt the need to use it. That's why. Maybe you should be more concerned with your own car. Maybe it'd be faster if you focused more on yours.

go back a page and see my post about how this came about.

Yeah, I looked all over that site can't find anything on a 675whp 370z. Show me what I'm missing?

Haven't been able to find anything about a Z on that site.

Erich drives Neons and a Carolla.

There is a guy, Zachary, that has a TT 370Z making 500HP (per the site). Why wouldn't the Z guy be doing the tuning, if that's what he's familiar with? Just curious.

Chuck33079 02-29-2016 02:25 PM

The reason everyone is skeptical is that your number is almost the record for a NA 370, and the record holder had a whole lot more done than you. Dry sump, cams, custom manifold, etc.

Um, was that directed at me? Because my car is faster than yours already. I'm just asking questions.

Then race my other car at Shift Sector this upcoming summer, chuck. It's the 1/2 mile racing event. Since you think you're faster.

Sure, I'll drive from Texas to the PNW to race your car.

It's not that I think my car is faster. It's that I know a car with +100whp/trq is faster than the same car without it. I'm not talking about some other mystery car.

Can you not afford an airline ticket to Portland to view them on the dyno in person, Fpenvy

If you got so much money and something to prove why don't you ship your car to FPenvy's tuner for a dyno pull:tup:

has nothing to do the couple hundred for a plane ticket. dont be salty that you come in here first post with some big inflated numbers and expect us all to stand back in amazement.

Can you not afford a simple phone to record it?

It's a waste of finite resources for someone to fly to your shithole just to view a dyno. The onus is on you to prove to everyone else that your **** is legit.

jaytirbhaw 02-29-2016 02:41 PM

Dyno data is relative, what was your baseline HP?

There are tons of tuners who've tuned hundreds of more z's than that shop has and have extensive knowledge of the VQ who have never gotten that high.

So your Z out of the thousands and thousands of tuned NA z is the one special one ?

Not saying your car doesn't make power, but you should educate yourself before falling for b*llshit from a shop.

mishuko 02-29-2016 02:52 PM

ok how about just showing us a printout of the dyno... that'll atleast give some 'credibility' to your claims.

CASHJON 02-29-2016 02:54 PM

The dyno sheet is in the photo. Clearly someone is blind to fact it's posted.

firstp ost he added it there. as i said many times a tuner can change a bunch of different variables and that dyno can read whatever you want it to.

hence why a few of us here have said wait to see a trap speed.

I call bulltish ..... the OEM heads flow 300cfm max and that is at .500" lift (and that is 12.7mm). The OEM cams only lift to 11mm and flow will necessarily suffer with 1.7mm less lift.

Sounds like a very generous dyno to me, UNLESS the engine had a shot of NOS during the pull, in which case it is not NA.
